Jörg Berghäuser | Managing Director
born 1966
Interior designer, product designer, concept specialist, strategist, high-powered copywriter, materials and communications researcher. Studied in Trier and at the Academy of Fine Arts in Munich with Eberhard Stauss, Manfred Kovatsch and Franz-Xaver Lutz, diploma in 1994. This is where the idea of interdisciplinary design as an augmented form of communication already took root. In 1996 he joined the management of Berghäuser and Son Interior Construction, Furniture Workshops. In 1998 he founded and became managing director of the raumwerk design studio – which in 2002 became INSTANTCONCEPT, Office of Design – and in 2006 INSTANTCONCEPT, Design and Systems for Communication, Architecture and Product, as co-managing director with Susan Gnaiger – in 2008 he took on management of Berghäuser and Son Interior Construction, Furniture Workshops.
Susan Gnaiger | Managing Director
born 1972
Communication designer, typography expert, colour professional, ardently delves deep into broad interdisciplinary expanses. Studied communication design at the University of Wuppertal with Bazon Brock and Uwe Loesch, diploma in 1999. She first worked as art director with Uwe Loesch, who showed prescience in anticipating and prophesying INSTANTCONCEPT in the very form it has taken on today. Later she worked at Boros Kommunikation and at Claus Koch ™. She has won numerous awards, from ADC New York and others. – In 2006 she became joint managing director with Jörg Berghäuser of INSTANTCONCEPT, Design and Systems for Communication, Architecture and Product.
